Hollywood starlet Cam MacKenzie left Big Sky Lake when she was just a teen. Now, running from a scandal that might ruin her fledgling acting career, she has reluctantly returned to her lakeside town and the people she left behind.
Sean Bowman is a single dad, pushing through the drudgery of serving the wealthy residents of the Upper End of Big Sky Lake. The local handyman might be easy on the eyes, but he’s focused on one thing—raising his daughter Bree. He’s not looking for love, and certainly not with some Hollywood-type like Cam.
To help a friend, Cam volunteers to direct the local school play. Little does she know that means spending day after day with Sean, the boy whom she shared her first kiss so many years ago.
