Before the first commercial this looked to be a sure-fire DNF. Yet, while the slowest of slow burns, this one redeemed itself with good acting and a “It’s a Wonderful Life” type storyline.

Yet, it’s not a Christmas movie, nope. It doesn’t pass the substitution test (insert another holiday and the movie still works.) Lori Loughlin, convicted criminal, makes multiple references to a young girl about attending college. A bit too on the nose.
