It feels like forever since we last spent a summer in the heat of Fire Canyon, doesn't it?
If you’ve been following along on Facebook or checking in here, you know that I’ve been writing about in a very special corner of Montana for a long time now. I started drafting the third book in the Big Sky Lake series back in the fall of 2024, before Fire Canyon was even published. Since then, these characters have lived rent free in my head through two winters, a lot of coffee, and more “what-if” scenarios than I care to admit.
That’s why I am so excited to announce that Grand Ridge (Big Sky Lake #3) will finally be in your hands in mid-2026!
What’s it about?
We are heading back to the Upper End, but this time, the snow is falling and the stakes are personal.
Grand Ridge follows the youngest Bowman sibling, Meg, who is returning to the ranch with her guitar and some breakup baggage she can’t shake. After an explosive family announcement, she finds herself stuck in Big Sky Lake, at least for the holidays. She wasn’t planning on running into Hudson, the buttoned-up general manager of the Grand Ridge Mountain Ski Resort and Lodge whose focus in life is the mountain’s success, and that’s about it. These two have a banter that I simply loved to write.
You’ll meet new characters who bring the world of Big Sky Lake to life. We’ll explore the mountain and confirm once again that Upper Enders and Low Enders don’t get along well.
As the snow finally begins to fall on Grand Ridge Mountain, Meg is faced with a life-changing choice. Follow her dreams or stay in the one place she tried to escape for a man who might just be her boyfriend jackpot? You’ll need to read it to find out!
An HEA promise
I think know my readers. You want the cozy atmosphere, the Montana vibes, and most importantly the Happily Ever After (HEA).
Don't worry. While I like to put the Bowman family through the wringer (poor Jackson and Sean have the scars to prove it), I promise that Meg and Hudson’s story delivers the payoff you’re looking for. It’s a story about coming home, second chances, and the messy, beautiful way families grow over time.
When we get a little closer to publication day, I’ll announce the date and open pre-sales. Thanks for checking in. And see you on the mountain!
PS - If you’re playing catch up with this series, I recommend starting at the beginning with the original story, Big Sky Lake, then of course, Fire Canyon, BSL #2. Both novels are available for Kindle or paperback on Amazon.
